Delete your account

The quick way: in the app

1. Sign in and open Settings.
2. Scroll to Data & privacy. Want a copy first? Press Export next to Export everything and download the zip.
3. Next to Delete my account, press Delete account, type DELETE and confirm.

That's it — it happens right away and you are signed out. You can also delete your account from Settings → Manage account (the sign-in settings); your PhysioTalk data is deleted the same way.

Only want to clear your lectures?

Settings → Data & privacy → Delete all lectures removes every lecture, its files, study material and tutor chats, but keeps your account, settings and streak. To remove one lecture, delete it from My lectures; to remove only a recording's transcript, delete it from that lecture.

Can't sign in? Ask us by email

Email us at physiotalk0@gmail.com from the email address of your PhysioTalk account, with the subject "Delete my account". Writing from that address is how we know the request is really yours; if you can't, tell us and we'll find another safe way to check. We reply within 7 working days, delete the account, and confirm by email. It's free.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in.
• Every lecture file, page, figure, summary, flashcard, quiz, exam, cheat sheet, recording transcript, tutor chat, error report, setting and study record linked to your account.
• Any data export still waiting, and payment screenshots.

What is kept, and why

• Payment records (amount, date, method, transfer reference), with your account removed from them — the law requires us to keep them.
• Usage counts (how many AI tokens were used), with your account removed — they hold no content.
• Backups: copies in our providers' backups disappear within 7 days.

Deleting your account doesn't refund a Premium period by itself — if you want a refund, ask before deleting (see the Refund & Cancellation Policy). Deletion can't be undone. More details are in our Privacy Policy.
